The SoLa Foundation Cybersecurity Bootcamp

In partnership with LA Care

Our 24-week bootcamp is designed to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and hands-on experience necessary to secure an entry-level position in IT or cybersecurity. The program also prepares students to earn the CompTIA Security+ and/or Netowrk+ certification, a key credential for launching a career in cybersecurity.


Throughout the bootcamp, students will engage in immersive, real-world training across a wide range of essential topics:

  • Linux and Windows System Administration
  • Cloud Administration within Azure
  • Ethical Hacking
  • Security Operations
  • Cryptography
  • Computer Networking, and
  • Bash and PowerShell Scripting


The bootcamp emphasizes hands-on labs, real-world scenarios, and projects that mirror tasks performed in actual IT and cybersecurity roles. By the end of the program, students will not only be prepared to pass the CompTIA certification exam, but also possess the practical experience to hit the ground running in their new careers.

CompTIA Security+ Certification Exam Prep Pilot Bootcamp

Hands-On Training Aligned with DoD and NICE Standards

Our pilot Certification Exam Prep Bootcamp is designed to accelerate workforce readiness for cybersecurity roles aligned with the Department of Defense’s DoDM 8140.03 directive and the NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework. This hands-on, instructor-led program equips participants with the practical knowledge, skills, and exam preparation needed to earn baseline cybersecurity certifications recognized across the DoD and defense contracting sectors.

This bootcamp is tailored specifically for:

  • Early-career professionals who want to strengthen their skills and boost their confidence
  • Individuals looking to transition into cybersecurity from another field
  • Those who need structure, guidance, and support to successfully prepare for certification exams


The curriculum is mapped to job roles defined in the NICE Framework, ensuring participants gain skills relevant to both public and private sector cybersecurity roles.


As part of the pilot offering, this program is available at no cost to eligible professionals in the Los Angeles area. Participants will attend a two-week, in-person training experience that includes all study materials, one certification exam voucher, and a free retake if needed. This fully sponsored opportunity is ideal for early-career professionals in cybersecurity or IT who are ready to take the next step in their career journey.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM (In-Person @ the SoLa Beehive)
